MIT's David Chandler wrote another great MIT in the World article entitled What is good water worth? about MIT Senior Lecturer Susan Murcott's Pure Home Water venture, which sells simple, low-cost ceramic water filtration systems to people in northern Ghana. This was a joint Civil & Environmental Engineering / MIT Sloan School student-project, including a G-Lab team.
