I just met with MIT student Michael Gordon to talk about summer plans for AITI -- the MIT Africa Information Technology Initiative -- and we talked about possible future expansion (or rather, return) to Ghana. Turns out there are several MIT-related efforts in Ghana this summer, including the International Development Design Summit (IDDS) and Maker Faire Africa. Anyways, we got to talking about various potential university partners and thus brought up Ashesi University.
