Libya's
Colonel-in-charge suggests
partitioning Nigeria much to the bemusement and/or fury of many Nigerians! But he has an interesting idea, one perhaps quite relevant to his own land. Is now the time to
partition Libya? It's such an unmanageably large country and the eastern and western wings have enough differences, nevermind the southern desert, there are clearly
several districts. So, why not? Whether this reasoning is relevant to
Nigeria, who knows...
Partitioning Nigeria will not solve the polity, the people need to rise above cultural and ethnic differences. Dividing Nigeria may lead to more chaos as there are so many ethnic nationalities in the country. Libya can be partitioned because the country is more or less a monolithic culture.
