Just saw the many great student projects in MIT's How To Make (Almost) Anything run by Professor Neil Gershenfeld of Fab Lab fame! Cool items including multiple milling, drawing, painting tools, including a FabTurtle, several fabtronics projects, a waterjet-cut-rock, a few dynamic building elements, some quite elegant actuated origami, and a lovely wooden LED display box!
