Sad to hear MIT alumnus Ken Olsen has passed away. Student of Jay Forrester, co-founder 
of mini-computer giant Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), Olsen dominated an entire generation of computing -- and then lost the future, letting his company whither into a subsidiary of an acquisition of a shadow of bygone greatness. Sad on so many levels.
