Excellent to meet the nine Seeding Labs Fellows who are working at Novartis here in Cambridge this Summer 2011! I walked them around yesterday on an informal MIT Innovation Tour to give a taste of this place and welcome them to our community. All faculty in biochem/lifescience fields from West African universities, 6 from KNUST in Ghana and 3 from Université de Bamako in Mali, their goals while here include building collaborations with international colleagues, learning and perfecting new techniques and skills, and thinking strategically about their own organization's growth and development.
