Bridging between Iran in the north and Oman in the south of the Strait of Hormuz... ...would enable high-speed movement of goods between South & East Asia and Central & South Africa. Especially if this gigaproject is done in concert with the bridge between Yemen & Djibouti as well as transconnections across KSA and, ideally, also rail-links connecting Oman & Yemen.
