Just Jerusalem competition's
winning entries propose better pathways towards peace & prosperity in the Levant by imagining
Jerusalem as it could and should be in 2050. The top entries each have interesting elements, but two stand out for me: Nitin Sawhney, et al, with their
Envisioning Jerusalem through Media Barrios, and Siegfried Atteneder & Lorenz Potocnik with their
Hummus project -- creating an East Mediterranean City Belt 2050 -- "an alliance of about 20 cities in the region thus forming a corridor of urbanization along the coast from Turkey to Egypt"...
