Remember Hiroshima ~ Nuclear Bomb Horrors...

The Big Picture reminds us that 64 years ago today Hiroshima was nuked. This and the subsequent bombing of Nagasaki were arguably important to accelerating the ending of WWII, but horrific nevertheless. I still don't see how any civilized people can ever rationalize the deliberate slaughter of innocent civilians -- and that includes the Blitz, Holocaust, Rape of Nanking, Firebombings of Tokyo and Dresden, as well as the two A-Bombs. In any case, I hope we see these images and realize why nuclear war must happen never again... As I've noted before, I favor eliminating immoral armaments.
