Hudnut's Matrix ~ Newco Business Models...

CSU professor Paul Hudnut teaches in their Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise program and blogs at BOPreneur. He cooked up this Matrix of business models as driven by target market (Base of Pyramid/BOP vs TOP) and the nature of the customer demand (Crisis vs Chronic)... I'm most interested in the challenges in the zone between Hybrid-BOP and Profit-TOP and especially in BOP problems that seem systemic in nature where an orchestrated solution -- or cocktail of solutions -- is the only thing likely to work.
