Understanding Healthcare ~ Several Visuals...

I'm trying to wrap my head around how the healthcare system(s) here in the US work (and, for that matter, in other parts of the world). Lots of terminology -- eg Primary Care, Ambulatory Care, Urgent Care, HMO, PPO, etc -- and different players consolidating, allying, privatizing, profitizing, non-profiting, and more. It's still largely a mysterious soup to me, but here are some of the visuals I've come across. Here's the barfographic produced by Republicrats... Countering this crapgraphic, the Demogogues banged this out... And here's the New Republic's Health Care System map... None of these terribly satisfying. And I'm as confused as before.
