We had
Frank Reynolds join us in
MIT Neurotechnology Ventures
today to share lessons from his experience in founding and building
InVivo Therapeutics, developers of groundbreaking technologies to treat spinal cord injuries (SCI). Frank co-founded InVivo with Professor
Bob Langer while pursuing his
Sloan Fellows degree at MIT. Having personally suffered a spinal injury, he's passionate about accelerating effective neuro-treatments for both good and profit. This business went public last week (
NVIV) which alone is pretty compelling. After showing pretty amazing results in monkeys, they're about to move from primate testing to human trials as soon as they get FDA approval. Interesting neuroco!
