Frank Didik has a nicely image-rich website for his proposed Trans Global Highway. It's an incredible combination of gigaprojects, each costing billions of US$, so part of me thinks this is crazy but another part thinks this is righteously and gloriously bold.I love it!
Of course there's a long history of bold-thinkers and doers who both dreamed of an executed on massive infrastructure projects. The Russian Trans-Siberian Railway, the US Trans-Continental Railway, the Suez Canal in Egypt, the Panama Canal, the Chunnel betwixt England & France, the Dutch Delta Works, and many more...
