It is a famous experiment in which some kids were given a Marshmallow and were faced with the choice of eating it straight away or waiting for 20 minutes; if they waited they were rewarded with a second one. Kids that waited (delayed self-gratification) performed much better later in life. The attitudes of the kids are hilarious."
