Lute Broens & Aleid Diepeveen ~ Clean Water!

I'm delighted to have had Aleid Diepeveen and Lute Broens join me on MaximizingProgress.tv today. They are visiting us from the Netherlands and are key protagonists in the clean water innovations arena. Aleid's organization Wetsus is a networking and applied research institution focused on water treatment technology through demand driven research. This means cooperating with all kind of companies, big and small, as well as academia. Their key goal is moving beyond regular research and towards translating innovative technologies to market, something Aleid's been concentrating on this past year as an MIT Sloan Fellow -- from which she just graduated! Lute is on the entrepreneurial side, having founded a membrane company specializing in ultrafiltration. This business is now part of Norit, a top global water technology player. Lute continues to drive innovation as their business development manager and is highly involved in several international networks, including chairing the European Desalination Society. Excellent to connect with these two clean water innovators -- and to plan for D-Lab and Development Ventures projects for this coming season!
